Any 2024 graduating high school student may apply if they meet the following criteria: The student must reside in the Beaver Dam Unified School District.

Instructions

  1. Send the completed BLUE and WHITE forms to the Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation in the POSTAL MAIL —NOT to Student Services.

  2. Have a teacher or guidance counselor complete the YELLOW sheet and forward it either to the Student Services Office or the Scholarship Foundation.

  3. Information on the Financial Assistance Questionnaire (BLUE SHEET) will be held in strict confidence, only to be seen and evaluated by an independent out of town source.

  4. You must select either a 4-year college, or tech, or two-year community college [Select only one].

  5. The name of the specific post secondary school is required. You may attend a different school later.

  6. Anyone already receiving a full tuition scholarship is not eligible.

  7. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be considered.

  8. 50% of the grade is based on need and 50% on merit.

  9. Please indicate your course of study preference on the application. There are special scholarships available for students entering the medical, business and education fields.

  10. APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE FEBRUARY 29, 2024.

Approximately $240,000 was awarded in 2023.

In completing the Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation (BDSF) application, the applicant is granting BDSF permission to use images/photos of applicant and applicant success story in BDSF promotional publications if the applicant receives a BDSF sponsored scholarship. The applicant carries the responsibility to notify BDSF if he/she does not grant BDSF permission to use images/photos or success story in BDSF promotional materials.
